Cabinet Receiving Policy

ORDER STORAGE

Orders that are not picked up or delivered within three business days of the original scheduled date will incur a storage fee of $35 per business day. These fees must be paid in full to JPD Kitchen Depot before the order will be released to the customer.

CHECK YOUR ORDER

Someone must be present at the time of delivery to receive the order. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the order for any missing items or visible damage. JPD Kitchen Depot is not responsible for loss or damage that occurs during shipment after you give the carrier a clean receipt.

PICKUPS AND LOCAL DELIVERIES
MISSING ITEMS

Any missing items must be noted at the time of customer pickup or local delivery. Once an order is signed for, JPD Kitchen Depot is released from any claims of missing items. All missing items must be reported at the time of pickup or delivery.

VISIBLE DAMAGE

Please inspect all boxes for visible damage in the presence of the warehouse representative. Any damaged boxes or packaging should be noted to the warehouse representative and marked on any paperwork you sign before leaving. All visible damage to boxes or packaging must be reported at the time of pickup or delivery.

CONCEALED DAMAGE

One claim per order is allowed for concealed damages and/or defects. After making a full assessment, report the affected products to your JPD Kitchen Depot representative immediately within 14 business days of receiving. Present clear and visible photos of the damaged products before installation. Photos of the original packing may be requested to support your claim. Claims of visible or concealed damage will be denied if any part has been installed, drilled for hardware, or modified from its original form.

LTL AND FTL SHIPMENTS
MISSING ITEMS

If there are items missing from your order, ensure to get a copy of the Bill of Lading and clearly note which items are missing. All missing items must be reported within 5 business days of receipt.

VISIBLE DAMAGE

Please inspect all boxes for visible damage in the presence of the carrier representative. Any missing or damaged packaging must be noted on the Bill of Lading or delivery ticket before signing any paperwork from the driver. If the Bill of Lading is electronic, be sure to request the driver to allow you to add notes on the device before signing. Report any issues to your JPD Kitchen Depot representative immediately with clear and visible photos of the damaged products or shipment and your copy of the Bill of Lading notating the damage. JPD Kitchen Depot is not responsible for loss or damage that occurs during shipment after you give the carrier a clean receipt. Visible damage claims must be reported within five business days of receipt.

CONCEALED DAMAGE

Report any concealed damage claims to your JPD Kitchen Depot representative immediately with clear and visible photos of the damaged products. Photos of the original packing may be requested to support your claim. Claims of concealed damages must be reported within 14 business days of receipt. Claims of visible or concealed damage will be denied if any part has been installed, drilled for hardware, or modified from its original form.



Cabinet Return Policy

Returns are not accepted on assembled ProCraft cabinets, Milania products, custom modified cabinets, and 3rd party hardware, because they cannot be restocked. Assembled cabinetry is considered to be custom built and nonreturnable. Returns accepted on RTA (ready to assemble) cabinetry are subject to 25% restocking fee. Customers are responsible for setting up all return shipments. Boxes must be unopened, clean, and unmarked. Products with missing components or modified from the original shipment are invalid for return. Returns will be credited only upon return and inspection of product when it arrives back to JPD. All returns must be submitted within 30 days of receiving. (Milania fillers, toe kicks, panels, door faces, and drawer faces which have been manufactured and edge banded are nonreturnable.)
