Here at JPD, we want to get you the biggest bang for your hard earned dollars. While other stone fabricators make you purchase an entire slab, JPD allows you to buy the exact amount of material you need for your job. How does this save you money? Take a look at the examples below:

Example 1- Average Kitchen Size

The average 12x12 kitchen with an island these days can be about 50 - 60 sqft of countertops. The average slab size (depending on material) is about 55 sqft. See the problem? Many competitors will make you purchase a 2nd slab in order to fit your countertops. Not only that, they will keep the leftovers. Just because you have less sqft than the slab size doesn't mean it will fit due to circumstances like waste and layout. That means you would normally need to purchase 110 sqft for your 55 sqft job. JPD will save you money by allowing you to only purchase the 55 sqft you need when choosing one of our in stock colors.

Example 2- Bathroom Vanities

Typical bathroom vanities come in sizes such as 24" all the way up to 108". A 24" vanity with side splash and back splash can be around 6 sqft while a 108" vanity can be around 22 sqft. See the problem? These are no where near enough sqft to fill up a slab, yet the competitor will charge you for a full slab anyways and keep the leftovers. JPD would only charge you for the sqft you need for your project to save you big money.

Our in stock program consists of level 1 granite all the way up to high end quartz and exotic stones. We stock high end materials from MSI, Vicostone, and Cambria that our competitors can't afford to. Your budget goes alot further JPD. You may be able to get the countertops of your dreams with JPD while you'd be settling for something at the competitor.

Can't Find Your Style In Our In Stock Program?

No worries. We also have a special order program with each of our suppliers to get you the stone you need. All of our suppliers are Chicagoland based so slabs can typically be delivered in a few days. Please note when purchasing a special order slab, you will be require dto purchase the entire slab, but we will allow you to keep the remnant.
